About Series
The About Series is a periodical by Gloria Glitzer, developed in 2010. You can read this series as an mobile exhibition space in form of a bookwork. For each issue we invite an indiviual or a group of people to develop a work or exhibition exclusivly for this space.
The framwork remains the same; a zick zack folded blue back poster (leporello) with a small Riso printed booklet, pamphlet stitched into the last fold. A sticker is glued on the outside of the first page of the leporello.
Each issue is limited to an edition of 100 copies +20 artist proofs, once the 100 copies are gone the exhibition is »over«.

The No. 12 of the About Series features an exhibition by Pernilla Ellens. Titled The Ritual, this artwork and exhibition is about submitting to sensuality in a primordial, pristine, perhaps pagan way. Pernilla is dedicated to freeing the body from myths of purity.
With a critical view, Pernilla’s practice places footnotes on our existing systems and gives space to the autonomous and the subversive.
